In this digital era, online presence is a significant component that businesses or brands need to utilize to thrive. Social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook have been major components in establishing an online presence. Individuals and collectives have also taken to these platforms to build their brands as social media influencers, particularly Gen Zs. Sai Karra is an influencer and entrepreneur whose ventures have helped him develop his brand, utilizing TikTok to help him start his career early.

At just sixteen years old, Sai Karra has already accomplished an incredible feat by expanding his influencer career into entrepreneurship. He has amassed over five million followers across various platforms in the past couple of years. On TikTok, Sai uses his account to tell stories and share interesting facts while running a digital marketing agency he started with his older brother, Srikar Karra.

Sai’s journey into the influencer life started over six years ago. Back then, he was running a YouTube account and posted basketball mixtapes, which started as a hobby. The channel grew popular with viewers and subscribers popping up to praise his works. “Ever since then, I knew I wanted to be a social media influencer,” Sai shared.

When TikTok started to gain more traction in the last few years, Sai and his brother grew interested in the platform. They eventually caved in as Sai created his first TikTok account in 2021. It did not take long for the content creator to grow popular with the content he was putting out. Eventually, Sai got noticed by some brands who asked him and his brother to run ads through their accounts. The requests started to pique their interest in starting their own marketing agency.

Eventually, the brothers decided to push for their goal and created BuiltGen, a digital marketing agency, specializing in targeting Gen Zs through various popular platforms. With BuiltGen, the Karra brothers market using their TikTok accounts. With only a handful of companies using the same strategy and the mass following that they accumulated on their respective accounts, Sai and Srikar can target hundreds of millions of people.

“Credibility is incredibly valuable,” shared Sai. “The reason I don’t have to worry about competition is because I have almost monopolized the TikTok storytelling niche along with my older brother, Srikar Karra. Brands reach out to us because they have seen results and know that we have a huge audience.”

Sai Karra’s journey has been incredibly fulfilling as he never imagined he would accumulate such a successful run at a young age. He has cited his fear of being average as a driving force to push his career forward. “I wanted to stand out and build a reputation and brand around my name that would help me throughout the years,” revealed the young influencer, “I wanted the name ‘Sai Karra’ to stand out and make a difference in the world. I wanted to become my own brand.”

Although he has already built a successful brand, Sai hopes that he will be able to utilize the connections he’s made to run a multimillion-dollar business. The young influencer foresees BuiltGen scaling and collaborating with some of the biggest brands in the world. Additionally, Sai hopes to continue making videos on the internet to impact millions of viewers positively.
