Having performed in over 200 international events, including 30 operas in six countries throughout Europe, Middle East, and North America, Natalja Sticco is on her way to the top as a rising opera and classical singer.
Natalja Sticco is a Latvian-born opera and classical singer who began her musical career in 2009. She emerged as a concert performer and stage soloist in Boston in 2018. Over the years, she has successfully performed in hundreds of global events, sharpening her singing skills and stage presence.
Last August, Natalja Sticco released her first self-titled album, “Natalja.” The album holds a collection of her favorite musical pieces, which she deems her introduction to her musical journey. Her take on music is quite different from other musicians. For her, her art doubles as her business. She explains that opera is a “cultural take-in,” exuding a feeling similar to going into a museum.
What motivated this talented mezzo-soprano was the lack of authenticity that plagues the music industry today. After working with a business coach on discovering her potential, the idea of building her brand dawned upon her, and Natalja Sticco has not stopped building her empire ever since. Authenticity is also what separates her from her fellow opera performers. “I have a fierce passion for opera and classical music but it also doesn’t define my life day to day,” explains the talented singer.
As a singer, Natalja Sitcco seeks to combine her passion for arts and culture. Several musical events and concerts have been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this unfortunate situation has not brought the Latvian songstress down. Instead, she has shifted her focus on home-based opportunities.
Besides being a vocalist for operatic concerts and events, Natalja Sticco is also an IT engineer in Boston. Her expertise has even landed her a unique nickname of “The Quantum Diva.” Moreover, her attractive face and overall good looks have also placed her on the top 2% models of the 2020 Covergirl Competition for Maxim Magazine.
Although pop culture dominates the mainstream music industry today, this reality comes with the fact that music enthusiasts these days tend to seek the nostalgic feeling brought by classical and operatic music. With that, it would seem that opera music is on its way to emerging in the mainstream scene once again. Natalja Sticco leads the way by incorporating a modern and unique twist into her operatic pieces. While some operatic purists may not be pleased with what she seeks to bring, she is not backing down because it is pure authenticity, which separates her from the rest.
In the future, Natalja Sticco hopes to use her expertise in IT Engineering to develop more creative tools to enhance the audience’s experience when listening to opera and classical music. At present, she has started a company ARIA AI that has partnered with a team of experts in creating a business plan. She is hopeful of what this promising vision may have in store for her and the opera music industry in the future.
