Gifted independent hip-hop artist Cleva Thoughts continues to be a musical force to be reckoned with as she dominates the industry with her music, songwriting skills, and entrepreneurial skills. She recently released her album Real Life, including the songs “Since I Been,” “Katty,” and “Dream of Love” featuring Young S.H.O. On top of growing her personal career as a hip-hop artist, however, she has been successfully lending her songwriting skills to other artists to help them bring their vision to life.
Born Chantilly Kornegay in The Bronx, Cleva Thoughts is considered to be one of this generation’s most dynamic artists, having made music in dubstep, R&B, EDM, and Techno, among others. She moved to Maryland at ten years old. She is currently signed under Strength Power Loyalty Entertainment with Young S.H.O and Trap Religion. She is also independently growing her brand and label, Box the Mic Entertainment. The rising songwriter has been playing a significant role in the careers of aspiring music artists like her who wish to produce quality hip-hop music that speaks volumes of their insights, perspective, and creativity. “I’ve passed a million streams worldwide. Delivering top-notch vocals and working with customers to make sure the product is their vision,” Cleva Thoughts explained. “There are over 200+ reviews that give insight on the feelings I leave after we have worked together. I can take a life story and customize it by putting it into a song format which is relatable,” she added.

“We can go from choosing a beat from the network of producers I have built relationships with. Then collecting information about a life story,” Cleva Thoughts revealed. “Educating on the process of how to get started with putting music on digital platforms and then marketing that song to see eventual success. The overall goal is to be the voice of the voiceless. Many people can write a hip-hop or rap song, but they may not have the ability to deliver those vocals. This is where I come in to assist.”
