“Patients are smart. If you tell them the truth and help them achieve results, they’ll often come back,” states Dr. Ivi Bifsha, founder of Spine Labs. “And they may bring others.”
Bifsha has reportedly sold two Spine Labs franchises to date. And he did it without a single social media page, ad campaign, or active website. This suggests the success of Spine Labs isn’t built on hype.
It’s built on trust, science, and transparency.
A Standardized Model Rooted in Science
Chiropractic care has often suffered from inconsistency. As Bifsha puts it, “Ten chiropractors, two miles apart, might give ten different diagnoses for the same back pain.”
This lack of standardization can create confusion and mistrust.
However, Spine Labs aims to change that.
Founded in Orlando in 2014, the brand uses a uniform protocol for exams, diagnosing, and treatment. Each Spine Labs location follows evidence-based practices where possible. Every patient receives largely consistent care—no matter which clinic they visit.
The model is built on three pillars:
- Bone: Chiropractic adjustments aimed at improving joint function
- Muscle: Personalized physical therapy designed to enhance mobility
- Nerve: Spinal decompression intended to relieve pressure on the nervous system
Each treatment plan is tailored based on actual exam findings, not assumptions.
“We don’t push. We don’t sell. We recommend what the patient appears to need and let them decide,” says Bifsha.
Transparency from Day One
At Spine Labs, every new patient receives a detailed exam and a custom report. This document explains their condition in plain language, outlines treatment options, and includes at-home exercises with clear instructions.
Patients may also receive treatment during the first visit, provided no red flags are present. This can help build credibility.
“By the time they get to the front desk, they’ve often already felt a difference,” Bifsha explains.
To further lower barriers, Spine Labs offers a $29 introductory visit option that includes spinal decompression—typically priced at $120 to $150 per session in most clinics.
Memberships are structured for affordability:
- $49/month: One adjustment
- $29 for each additional adjustment
- $89/month: Four adjustments
- $10 for extras
Decompression packages range from $79 to $399/month.
There are no long-term contracts, meaning patients can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Addressing Industry Misconceptions
Spine Labs seeks to address common concerns about chiropractic care:
- Perceived as untrustworthy: Spine Labs uses evidence-based diagnostics, avoiding vague promises.
- Seen as expensive: Plans start under $50/month with full transparency.
- Believed to require lifelong visits: “You don’t have to go at all,” Bifsha says. “But if something seems to improve your quality of life and costs less than dinner out, why stop?”
Spine Labs also emphasizes not making unproven claims. “We don’t say we treat cancer or infections. We stick to the spine,” says Bifsha. “And when we see something outside our scope, we refer out.”
Built to Scale—With Careful Execution
Dr. Bifsha has opened seven clinics and built a system that can run with or without him. This process has helped create a scalable franchise model.
Spine Labs locations are relatively affordable to open, starting under $200,000—often below the $270K–$400K range of competitors. And unlike many healthcare franchises, Spine Labs does not bill insurance.
This helps reduce the burden of claim denials, administrative overhead, and state-by-state compliance issues.
The model appears effective due to its simplicity, affordability, and accessibility—allowing it to attract many new patients each month with minimal marketing spend. Rather than relying on aggressive advertising, it often thrives on recurring revenue from memberships and strong local word-of-mouth.
The Vision Moving Forward
Bifsha’s long-term goal is to become one of the nation’s leading providers of chiropractic and spinal decompression care.
By continuing to expand access to high-quality, affordable treatment through a standardized model, Spine Labs hopes to redefine how spinal health is delivered across the country.
“I’m not rushing,” he says. “I want a refined system before I scale hard.”
Franchise interest is reportedly growing. Two Spine Labs locations are set to launch soon. Bifsha is preparing to support new owners with marketing tools, operational training, and consistent clinical protocols.
Spine Labs isn’t selling gimmicks. It’s offering something the industry has often lacked: chiropractic care patients can understand, afford, and trust.
