Before becoming a barber, Will was a hip-hop artist, performing at various venues around Toronto. However, it was his love for cutting hair that eventually led him down a different path. What started as self-haircuts eventually turned into cutting the hair of friends and locals in a small shop he built in his garage.
But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for Will. He found himself surrounded by the wrong crowd, making decisions that could have had life-changing consequences. It was only through his love for barbering that he was able to turn his life around.
After enrolling in a hairstyling program and transitioning back to barbering, Will studied the techniques and customer service skills of barbers on YouTube. He worked at various barbershops, but it wasn’t until he landed a job at Barbershop Vaughan Mills that he found a sense of purpose.
Over the span of nine years, Will has built a loyal client base, and his dedication to his craft has earned him recognition in the Flawless Fade Championship at the Iconic Men Expo. Will’s story is a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and passion.
Through it all, Will has remained grounded and grateful for the support of his family and the positive influences in his life. He is driven by a desire to continue growing as a barber and as a human being.
In the coming years, Will plans to open his own barbershop/suite and expand his brand to several locations in Toronto. His goal is to become a household name in the barbering community, and with his story of triumph and resilience, it’s clear that he has the drive and determination to make it happen.
