Ivan Cox’s latest literary achievement, “Blood Pudding,” has emerged victorious in the recent novel writing competition hosted by the renowned entertainment company, WILDsound. The festival attracted numerous submissions, each meticulously reviewed by anonymous editors who ultimately crowned “Blood Pudding” as the standout entry.
In an exciting development, WILDsound has announced plans to transform this captivating novel into a truly distinctive unique film experience. Val Cole, a highly regarded voice narrator, has been tapped to lend her talents to the film, ensuring a top-notch voice-over experience for the audience.
Matthew Toffolo, the visionary behind the WILDsound Festival, and CEO of the associated WILDsound Festival TV app, envisions a daily feast of the world’s most remarkable creative content. The Canadian-based company offers a daily film festival experience, showcasing outstanding independent films, captivating readings of original screenplays, engrossing novels, short stories, and evocative poetry. When asked about his motivation for creating WILDsound, Matthew explained, “I recognized a growing need to provide a platform for creators to proudly present their artistic endeavors.”
Ivan Cox expressed his elation upon learning that “Blood Pudding” had been chosen for adaptation into a film. “I am genuinely thrilled about WILDsound’s innovative approach to storytelling,” he shared. “The entire endeavor is incredibly exciting.” Ivan also highlighted the choice of a female voice narrator, remarking, “I believe it aligns perfectly with my novel’s target audience, primarily composed of women. The narrative deeply resonates with them. And the narrator Tad is a delicate boy, so a gentle and sometimes plaintive woman’s voice fits his character superbly.”
