Largely inspired by her mother, Kristy Randolph, and the permeating pop culture, Shes In Minks is a luxury lash brand that offers both real and faux lashes to help women achieve their desired looks. Ashea launched Shes In Minks as a sophomore in high school in San Diego, and since 2018, the brand has grown to be a favorite for fashion-forward uniquely creative people who want to look their best at all times.
Shes In Minks offers different types and styles of handcrafted lash extensions. Ashea Brand established the company with her mother’s guidance, and together they have positioned it to be a brand that promotes exclusive inclusion and beauty. “My mother inspired a lot of things at the company, and she encouraged me every day to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams. Our clients are called #minkbabes, a tag we have discovered many of them are proud to associate with,” Ashea says.
With her entrepreneurship dreams on one side, Ashea Brand is college bound as she’s a 2021 graduate and will be a student at Clark University. She is building a whole empire and aiming for a college degree on the side. The brand is currently in its third year, and so far, its products can be found in stores located in CA and GA. Ashea is passionate about young women and girls especially those considered marginalized. Early enough in her life, she got countless lessons on confidence and self-empowerment while passing real-life tests when she experienced bullying as a little girl and pre-teen.
Ashea Brand is always trying to send a message to young girls about how they should be brave and never scared to accomplish the goals they have. Turning her pain from getting bullied into strength pushed her to become a great student, an outstanding athlete, a teen mentor, and an ambassador at a local teen youth program. Through her company, she is sending a message that says, “Be Unique, Be You.”
While Ashea owns the company, she works closely with her mother, who offers her expert advice on how to make the company a household name. With success achieved in less than two years; growing in the third the brand is well on its way to becoming a noteworthy brand in the fashion world. Shes In Minks prides itself on producing quality, handcrafter lashes targeted towards all types of beautiful people , specifically those effected by societal expectations, lash lovers, young female entrepreneurs based in the United States, etc.
