Stand-up Comedian Keith Ross Nelson Adds Value to Life Through Laughter

Grit and resilience are two essential characteristics for anyone who wants to be successful in any endeavor, including being a stand-up comedian. Keith Ross Nelson’s path to be an internationally acclaimed stand-up comedian is marked by the words “never give up,” and it has become his way of life. For more than thirty years, Keith Ross Nelson has been making people roll out of their seats in boisterous laughter in all fifty states in the United States. 

Put Keith Ross Nelson in comedy clubs, college events, and cruise ships, and he will make sure to light up that event. Keith’s excellent career in comedy has brought him into many roles and made him into a versatile artist. He acted and wrote, produced, and directed films, television shows, and events. His stand-up comedy skill allowed him to play roles in hit movies like “The R.M,” “Mobsters,” and “Mormons.” He has also appeared in shows like Hulu Comedy Shows Comedy Time and Comedy Express and played as one of the main characters in the 2018 television series “Not For Nothin” that he co-wrote and created. He has also been seen on Entertainment Tonight In 2005, he had yet again proven that he was one of the best stand-up comedians out there when he won at the Portland Comedy Competition.

As someone brimming with positivity and has the gift of making people laugh effortlessly, Keith’s infectious sense of humor has endeared him to many people worldwide. He has performed in countless live shows in places like Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Afghanistan, Guam, and many others, to name a few. His followers on Instagram experienced an exponential growth of 40,000 who are all into his content and unique style of comedy, many young people between 25 and 30 being his biggest fans. He’s been attributed in media coverage everywhere using his witty jokes and easy sense of humor. He has been featured in national publications like iHeart, L.A. Wire, All ThingsComedy, NY Weekly, Live Nation, etc.

In an interview, Keith expressed that he’d like his audience to see and embrace all sides of him. He said, “I’d love to be known as the guy who loves talking about growing old and is seen as funny.” He continued, “There are many sides to many people, and it will be nice to see them embracing all those sides proudly.” Keith is famous for making fun of himself and showing the humor of being a man of his age, an age belied by his young, calm, and hip demeanor on stage. 

Unknown to many, this master of comedy has many more skills hidden under his sleeves other than cracking jokes. He is a competitive and decorated Athlete, a silver medalist at the world’s high jump competition in 1998, and a three-time National Championships in Masters High Jump. In addition, he recently got into martial arts and acquired a third-degree black belt in Kung Fu at forty-five. Keith Ross Nelson is eager to continue adding value to people by putting laughter on people’s faces worldwide and providing an avenue to breathe despite life’s difficulties. He wants to be part of more hit movies and comedy theaters in the coming years and be an excellent role model for other aspiring comedians.
