Fight Bananas is partnering with the University of West Florida to provide college students the opportunity to complete internships for school credit. Fight Bananas, an industry leader in combat sports reporting, is providing internship opportunities ranging from video production to sports marketing.
After taking the fight industry by storm Fight Bananas has decided to give back to the community starting with neighboring colleges. They have opened up an internship program, designed to help students get industry experience while continuing their education.
By partnering with the University of West Florida, Fight Bananas is able to give students the real-world experience they need to be successful in a career. Doing an internship with Fight Bananas gives students particularly interested in combat sports reporting, which is a very niche market, an opportunity to see what that industry has to offer. Those chosen for the internship will have the opportunity to work alongside podcasting hosts, reporters, journalists, marketing professionals, the broadcast and video production team.
Along with amazing opportunities, interns can expect to expand their networks and growth. Fight Bananas will be introducing the #BananaNetwork to help interns make connections with professionals in their desired field. Building relationships with those in your field will create lasting impressions and maybe even jobs over time.
