Fresh from the recent success of her Paris Fashion Week stint last September, where she featured her latest collection of luxury purses, tote bags, jewelry, and her exquisite line of couture, Jean Amour is truly one true artisan whose love for fashion and the arts transcends beyond one’s imaginations.
The Artist
Jean Pioso, the creative mind behind the brand Jean Amour, has traversed valleys to gear up for the ever-competitive world of the fashion industry. After grueling years of exploration and honing her craft, she has become one of the household names in Los Angeles regarding fashion preferences. She has realistically become grounded by her vision of bringing forth a deep sense of fashion for all ages and sizes and inspiring people to be confident with their distinctive styles.
Over the years, her theatrical expression for fashion has brought her mystical interpretations of love and life. As an artist whose creativity was first seen through her oil paintings and later morphed into wearable fashion, she always had an inclination for peculiar sets of designs that are indeed standouts. These were evident in her unique pieces of luxury purses, corsets, and tote bags, which were inspired by the illuminating colors of butterflies and flowers from her oil paintings.
Her scrupulous nature made her so glued to the narratives of each detail that each of her designs was intricately handcrafted from specialty fabrics. Just like her Wings of Love dress collection, allured by her fascination for butterflies and angels, and featured in several events in Los Angeles, New York Fashion Week, including a fashion show during the Oscars viewing in Beverly Hills, which received global recognition.
In her 2023 New York Fashion Week collection, she featured Mother of Pearls as the core element of her floral purses, which received reviews. She also presented other unique collections of butterfly designs, flags, camouflage totes, and handbags – all ingeniously crafted to bring comfort and luxury to every piece.
Passionate about her craft, Jean Amour is genuinely a new force to be reckoned with. She is busy promoting her luxury bra designs as her current collaboration with Victoria’s Crafts. Jean is also preparing for the “Art of Fashion Show,” a painting exhibit and fashion show in San Diego on November 18, 2023, apart from the varied fashion events and expo overseas slated in the coming months.
The Altruist
Not just a mere fashion designer and artist but also a medical social worker and a US military Ombudsman, Jean always upholds humanitarian causes. Her high-end luxury purses labeled as “Mahal Kita” bags and “Mariposa” collection paved the way for creating the Mahal Kita Foundation to help underprivileged children and homeless veterans. She also selflessly collaborates with other businesses to continually provide jobs, especially for talented Filipino artists.
Her most recent partnership with Alegre De Pilipinas, LLC, which took place during Paris Fashion Week in September, broadened her horizons and allowed her to work with international talent, models, and beauty queens like Mary Jae Felizarta, Miss Philippines USA 2023.
Asked about what motivates her to continue honing her craft, it is when people express their appreciation after being stunned and inspired by her collections.
